Optimus displays a confirmation and a list of plans available to you. Plans, rates, terms, and lender match are determined by Optimus based on your individual credit profile.

When you submit your pre-qual, we get an email letting us know you've started the financing process. We bring that context into your in-home estimate so the conversation is ready when your technician arrives.

Once you've seen your system options and chosen one, we resend the application link with the system cost ready to fill in. You pick from the plans you already pre-qualified for, finish on your phone in about five minutes, with your technician there to answer questions.

Does this affect my credit?

No. Pre-qualification is a soft credit pull. It does not affect your credit score. The full application later is a hard pull, and only happens when you decide to move forward with financing on a specific system cost.

What if I'm not approved?

We have other options. You can use your own bank or credit union's financing, and we've worked alongside customer-arranged financing many times. Approval, plans, and terms are determined by Optimus and the lender, not by us.

What if my situation changes between pre-qualification and the estimate?

You can re-run pre-qualification anytime. It's still a soft pull. No penalty for running it more than once.

Why can't I just complete the application now?

The application requires the system cost, which you don't have until your in-home estimate. Your technician walks you through your system options, gives you a clear price, and then resends the application link so you can finish it on your phone with the system cost filled in. About five more minutes.

Will I have to start over later?

No. Your pre-qualification is saved. When we resend the application link at the in-home estimate, you pick up where you left off, with the system cost added in. You're not redoing the form.

What happens during the in-home part?

Your technician arrives at your scheduled time, evaluates your system, presents your options with prices, and answers your questions. If you choose a system and want to finance it, we resend the application link with the system cost ready to fill in. You pick from the plans you already pre-qualified for. About five minutes.

What rates and plans will I get?

Your specific plans, rates, terms, and lender match are determined by Optimus based on your individual credit profile. We can't predict or guarantee what you'll be offered. Pre-qualification shows you exactly what's available to you in about a minute.
