Do the sensors have cameras or microphones?

No. The sensors measure temperature, air pressure, and moisture only. They monitor your equipment, never you.

How long does installation take?

About 15 minutes per system. A licensed technician places everything during a membership visit, with no changes to your equipment and nothing for you to install.

Do I need a smartphone and internet?

An internet connection is required so the system can send readings and alerts. A smartphone is recommended for real-time alerts, but you can also receive monthly health reports by email and order filters through a web portal.

What happens when a sensor detects a problem?

You and our team are both notified. Urgent alerts like water leaks come through as a push notification, an email, and a text. Our team reviews the technical alerts and reaches out to schedule service if your system needs attention.

Does it work with more than one system?

Yes. Each system gets its own sensors, and your technician will confirm exactly what is needed during installation.

Which smart thermostats does it work with?

Honeywell Home and Google Nest today, with Ecobee coming soon. The sensors work on their own and do not require a smart thermostat.

How much data does it use?

Very little. It runs quietly in the background using minimal home internet data, without slowing down your network.

Is there a contract?

Monitored memberships run on a 24-month term with a $120 early cancellation fee. The term reflects the monitoring equipment we install and maintain for you, along with the ongoing service that comes with your membership.

What if I sell my home?

The monitoring equipment stays with the membership rather than the home, so if you are moving, just reach out. We will walk you through the options, whether that is ending your plan or getting the new owners set up.
