The General's 34-Point Heating Tune-Up
For Cypress and Katy homeowners who want to know exactly where their heating system stands before it gets cold.
The General's 34-Point Heating Tune-Up is a hands-on heating system evaluation for Cypress and Katy homeowners at $169. Your technician checks heat exchanger condition, ignition sequence, airflow, safety controls, and 28+ additional measurements. You get a written report at the end of the visit.
What it is
A comprehensive heating system evaluation. Not a visual inspection. Your technician uses actual instruments: a multimeter for electrical components, combustion analysis tools, and a hygrometer for humidity readings. You get a written report at the end of the visit showing what was measured and what was found.
That report is produced with MeasureQuick, an industry-standard HVAC diagnostic platform. It lays out your system's vital signs, including heat transfer and air distribution, each checked against in-range and out-of-range standards, so you can see exactly what is healthy and what needs attention.
This is not a sales call disguised as a tune-up. We measure the system and document the results. What happens next is up to you.

The right time is before you need it
Heating problems show up on the first cold night. A tune-up in fall finds issues when you have time to make decisions, not when you're scrambling in December.
If everything looks good, you walk away with a written report and confidence heading into winter. If we find something, you get the options in plain language.
What happens after
After the tune-up, you have a written record of your heating system's condition. If repairs are needed, we present your options with pricing. You decide. No pressure to sign up for anything.
If you're interested in ongoing maintenance for both heating and cooling, we can talk about the Home Protection Plan. HPP members get a spring AC tune-up and a fall heating tune-up every year, plus priority scheduling and repair discounts.
