Who is The General Heating & Air?
The General Heating & Air is the assumed name of The General Home Services LLC, a Texas company. We are a licensed HVAC contractor, Texas license TACLA153612E. The company is owned and run by Adé Sampson (a licensed HVAC contractor and U.S. Air Force veteran) and La Toya Luces-Sampson, MD. The owners are the owners: when you call, you reach the people accountable for the work.

How does The General protect my personal information?
We collect only what a service visit needs, limit who can see it, and work only with established software providers. Customer and job records are kept in our field-service system (Workiz) and CRM (GoHighLevel); accounting runs through QuickBooks. Access is limited to the owners and staff who need it to do the work. Our website runs over a secure (HTTPS) connection. We do not sell your personal information.
How does The General handle my payment information securely?
We never store your full card number. Card payments are processed by established payment processors, and financing applications go directly to our lending partners. We accept Zelle, ACH bank transfer, check, credit card, and financing through Optimus. Approval, plans, and rates for financing are determined by the lender.
What information do you collect, and why?
We collect your name and contact details, service address, details about your HVAC system, and payment status, so we can schedule your visit, diagnose the issue, invoice accurately, register your warranty, and follow up. The complete list, and the legal basis for each use, is in our Privacy Policy.
Will you text or email me without asking?
No. We send appointment and service messages related to your job, and marketing messages only if you have opted in. You can reply STOP to any text to opt out, or use the unsubscribe link in any email. Details are in the SMS section of our Privacy Policy.
How do I control cookies and website tracking?
Our site uses Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to understand how visitors use it. You can decline analytics and advertising cookies anytime by choosing "Your Privacy Choices" in the footer, and we automatically honor your browser's Global Privacy Control signal.
What are my privacy rights?
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and opt out of marketing. If you are a Texas resident, you can opt out of the processing of your data for targeted advertising.
